Sundays are for planning! That’s right! Planning, meal prepping, scheduling and getting things organized for the week ahead because Monday is coming and it is go time! There is no time to think, schedule, write things down or organize things out once Monday hits! Mondays are the busiest day of the week because we are just getting over the weekend where everything seems to be closed or it just didn’t get done over the weekend. That is totally fine too! That is what the weekends are for, to relax, take your mind off work and/or school. Sundays though… Sundays are for preparing and planning for the week ahead and what better way to do that than to have a weekly planner! But which type of weekly planner are you? Small or Big? What is a weekly planner?Of course, it is a plan for the week, but furthermore, it helps you organize your thoughts, lists, activities planned, appointments, even goals that you want to reach for the week. Let’s dive into what really makes up a weekly planner and how it can benefit you in your busy life! "The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities." Go Small or Go Big?There are two types of weekly planners.: Small or Big. There is the type that goes on the fridge or that sits on your desk and then there is the type that is in your planner along with your monthly calendar. The difference is, the small weekly planner is used as a calendar for the week with a small section for notes, where you jot down little reminders about things that may need to be put into your monthly planner, but the bigger one is used like a calendar that is mixed with a little bit of a journal. On the calendar part of the weekly planner, you put all your appointments, events, due dates, etc. things that need to be done on certain days or where you have to be on a certain day. On the journal side of the planner, you can add many different things to it to fit your needs, such as, your goals, to-do lists, grocery lists, inspirational quotes, motivational quotes, workout routine/schedule, etc. Big planners are a more in depth look into your busy life. Whereas, small weekly planners are great for keeping at your desk or in the central command center of your home, so that everyone is on the same page with all events, due dates, etc. If you think a small planner is your go to planning tool, then check out my weekly calendar below!
